We are a coalition of seven communities of faith, listed below, on the Mountaintop who are dedicated to promoting peace and harmony with our neighbors As such, we are horrified by the escalation of hostilities by Russia against its neighbor, the sovereign state of Ukraine.
Our most fervent prayers are for the safety, security, freedom and peace of the Ukrainian people and their friends and family living here on the Mountaintop.
A special prayer liturgy for Ukraine will be held at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, west of Hunter NY on Route 23A this Sunday, March 6 at 2:00 PM. All are welcome to this simple prayer service, led by Rev. Ivan Kaszczak, Pastor of St. John’s.
